This is not another report, it’s a wake-up call

A Global Report for local, global, and vital solutions

To counteract a profoundly unequal system which is gathering speed, destroying the planet, undermining democracy, and laying waste to the world, this report proposes collective action based on three requirements to end poverty once and for all:

  • Involving vulnerable people so that they can play a full role in society—a lasting society cannot be built on fear, withdrawal, rejection, or domination.
  • Placing the common good at the heart of public policy—freedom and peace are no more than a temporary illusion without social justice.
  • Building an economy which truly serves human beings and their environment—other models are possible, and the current pandemic is clear proof of the need for these.
